Application preparation
Application preparation is for people who know which visa they want and would like help putting together a complete, consistent application. We work through it with you, step by step, so that nothing is left to guesswork.
Who it is for
First-time applicants who find the forms and evidence rules hard to follow.
People applying in a second language who want to be sure each answer means what they intend.
Families applying together, where documents need to match across several applications.
What is included
A document checklist written for your case, not a generic list. It explains what each document is for and what it must show.
A timeline that works back from your travel or start date, including appointments, tests and the official processing time published by the government.
Help completing the online application form. We explain each question so you can answer it accurately in your own words.
A check of your evidence as you gather it, so problems are found early.
A final review of the whole application before you submit it.
What you get at the end
A complete application that you have checked and understood, ready for you to submit and pay the government fees directly. You will also have a copy of your checklist and a note of anything you need to bring to a biometrics or interview appointment.
What we need from you
Original documents or clear scans, as listed on your checklist.
Certified translations for any document that is not in the language the government asks for. We will tell you which ones.
Time to answer our questions, and to tell us straight away if anything changes, such as a new job, address or bank account.
Limits you should know about
You remain responsible for the truth of everything in your application, and you sign the declaration, not us. We will never include information we know or suspect is false. We cannot speed up a decision or influence its outcome. Government fees, health charges and test fees are paid by you directly to the organisation concerned. If your case needs specialist legal work, such as an appeal or a matter involving removal or deportation, we will refer you to a solicitor.
From first question to finished application
Every case makes the same four stops. You always know which one you are at, and what comes next.
